About this page
This page is maintained by BlushedBar to explain the terms that apply to clients who use our website, book appointments, or receive services in our studio. It is editable site content, not legal advice or a contract drafted by a lawyer. If you need clarification, contact us directly.
Services
BlushedBar provides brow waxing, brow tinting, brow lamination, lip blush, lip neutralization, and related consultation and aftercare services. Services are performed by appointment only at our studio in Scarborough, Ontario. All results depend on individual skin type, lifestyle, healing, and aftercare.
Booking and deposits
Appointments are booked through Acuity Scheduling. Permanent makeup services require a $100 non-refundable deposit to reserve the appointment. The deposit is applied to the total service price on the day of the appointment. Walk-ins are not accepted.
Cancellation and rescheduling
Clients may reschedule with at least 48 hours' notice. Cancellations or reschedules inside 48 hours forfeit the deposit. Late arrivals of more than 15 minutes may need to rebook and forfeit the deposit.
Age and health requirements
Brow services are available to clients 16 and older. Permanent makeup services are available to clients 21 and older with valid ID. We do not perform permanent makeup on clients who are pregnant, nursing, undergoing chemotherapy, taking blood thinners, or with active cold sores or other contraindications. A completed intake form is required before any permanent makeup service.
Results and healing
Permanent makeup results are not guaranteed. Color, retention, and healing vary by person. BlushedBar provides a complimentary perfecting session within the recommended timeframe for eligible services. Clients are responsible for following aftercare instructions. We do not offer refunds for services already rendered.
Studio conduct
Our studio is a single-suite space. Clients are asked to arrive alone and not bring children or guests. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone whose health, behaviour, or condition makes the service unsafe or disruptive.
Photos and consent
Before and after photos may be taken during or after your service. Photos are only used publicly on our website, social media, or marketing with your explicit written or verbal consent. You may decline at any time.
Payments
Remaining balances are paid on the day of the appointment. We accept the payment methods available in studio. Taxes are included or applied as required by Ontario law. Deposits are not transferable to other clients.

Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in question.

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any dispute will be resolved in Toronto, Ontario.
